This edition of the Legrand annual journal features a wide array of visually dynamic technical photography and infographics, which are used in inventive layouts to express the French company’s rich research, narratives and development.
This is a business publication of substance in the industry. Every page is rich with intelligent design, colorful visuals, and creative, solid writing. Flipping through the pages, one gets the feeling that Legrand is an important institution of higher technological design, where important research is being conducted, and where big ideas have the potential to change the way of building the use of a space.
This project wanted to create a extraordinary way in which the publication simplifies the design, science, and big ideas taking place at Legrand, and makes it all compelling and combustible to an average costumer. The driving ethos behind every double pages was: How can we make this interesting to any future costumers?
It was designed filled with oversized double photography. Its freedom from the restrictions of annual reports means that each chapter can be totally unique both in its design and content.
The design builds on a new format with a clean type treatment, spare page layouts, intended to provide a neutral contrast to the usual character of annual business documents.
